Deepest sympathy on the loss of my former neighbour and old friend when I was growing up in Avondale. I have alot of memories of Paddy and his parents, many of those memories shared a lot of laughter, as all three had a great sense of humor. Rest in Peace Paddy,you will be certainly missed on Mason's Road.Many Sunday's you waited by the fence to see who was going out to Mass to get a ride,and many Sunday's I picked you up,and you would say,didn't get to mass last week,no one went that way,the week is not the same if I don't get to mass..and after mass we would come back and each Sunday you would say the same thing,got to go in and put the kettle on for a hot cup of tea,you would laugh,then say what do one get to eat all the time..my God..Now God Bless you and have a good week..Now you will be at Mass every day celebrating with the most high,for God Knew you were his faithful servant on earth and he needed another faithful servant in Heaven...R.I.P Paddy.

Just found out today that Paddy had passed away. I will miss his laugh and his smile on the unit.I knew him only for a little while but he had a way of creeping into your heart and making you laugh on a busy day.God speed Paddy.

Avondale has lost another long standing fixture. Paddy was a truely kind and gentle soul with a great sense of humour and an old world charm that's rare these days.He will be missed and fondly remembered.

What a treasure heaven received when Paddy Mason made his entrance. A faithful servant here on earth and no nicer man would anyone ever meet. He would beem with pride when serving on the altar at his beloved Assumption church. His stories and great wisdom of the old days, his sense of humour and his overall friendliness will never be forgotten by all who knew him. Rest in Peace Paddy.
