Our thoughts and prayers to Rita’s Holyrood family. She would visit her Cape Shore family during the summer time. A very gentle quiet lady who, I think, enjoyed her time with family there. May she Rest In Peace.

These past months I have visited Violet at Glenbrook Lodge and Rita was usually on first floor when I went in , going around in her wheelchair. We would talk about Holyrood and she always wanted to go back there which she called home. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

I didn't realize at the time how important, or how much impact Rita would have on our lives today. There isnt a time in my life I can remember without Rita being in it. She lived with us from a time when we were little boys and watched us grow up into men. She was the first one up in the morning, and wasnt very happy if you got up before her. She had to make us breakfast before school and do her part in cleaning around the house. She used to run errands for whoever needed something and loved to visit her friends on the oscasion. She put names on myself and all our friends, even if they weren't your real one. She loved her tea and toast up to a loaf a day I'd say, and her tea had to be that hot it would burn the hands off ya. I could literally go on forever here. Rita I hope you are at peace. I am so glad you were such a big part of our family and wouldn't change a thing. I'm sorry for all the pranks we did to you as kids and hope you save a place up there for us someday. We love and miss you very much. We will always be your "Brian and Steven".
