Cantwell Nellie, (nee Brown): Passed peacefully away on Sunday, August 25, 2019 in the presence of her loving family, Nellie Cantwell whom resided with her daughter Rochelle (Cyril) in Mitchell’s Brook formerly of Torbay, NL in her 84th year. Predeceased by husband: Stan, parents: Herbert & Joanna, brother Hubert, sisters: Blanche, Kay, Mary, Cindy, & son in-law Dick. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories are her children: Hubert (Carol), Marlene (Lester), Christine (Jerome), Edward (Marland), Debbie (Gerry), Liz (Randy), Gordon (Brenda), Kim (Robert) & Rochelle (Cyril), 22 grandchildren, 29 great -grand children & one to arrive soon, brothers & sisters: Gord (Edie), Gerald (Gail), & Fred Brown, brother in-law Myles, many nieces, nephews and a large circle of other relatives & friends. Special thank you to her: doctors; Kim Babb & Paul Walsh, care taker Lil Hawco & nurses: Jill Greeley & Jessica Walsh, Father Steve Courtney of the Good Shepherd Parish & Monsignor Dennis Walsh for their home visits and prayers. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation on Wednesday & Thursday from 1pm - 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 11 am from Holy Trinity Church, Torbay, NL. Inurnment to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Torbay. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Nellie’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
