Phyllis leaves behind her brother Paul (Sharon), her nephew Paul (Lisa Cole) and family, her niece Lisa Woodford and family as well as her niece Jennifer (Steven Hawco). She is also survived by her sister Patricia (Tony Wood) and her brother-in-law Steven Paulovics. She will be deeply missed by her aunts Dorothy Wade and Patricia (Boyd Wheeler). Leaving to mourn are her many cousins, including Gary (Carly) Woodford; Diane (Doug Cole) and Christine Wade.
Phyllis considered her homecare workers part of the family. They will miss her dearly. She has had many over the years, including Patty, Janine, Sheila and Darlene. She will be lovingly remembered by her many friends including Dave and Jean Walsh, Mary Myers, Noreen, Elaine, Barb, Eleanor and so many others who were very close to her heart. A special thank you to her neighbor Con Wall who she knew she could count on 24/7.
Phyllis had Multiple Sclerosis for the past 53 years. She fought the disease on a daily basis – always a survivor. She was determined and fearless. Phyllis had a 48 year career with Canada Post in a position she thoroughly enjoyed. She loved meeting people and helping them out in any way she could. Phyllis had an amazing sense of humor and a positive attitude. She was determined and strong-willed. She loved playing bingo, cards and dining out with friends and family. Phyllis had a kind heart. She will always be the wind beneath our wings. Our family will never be the same without her.
